Put the temperature on the thermostat a little higher than the current temperature so the furnace starts working.
Turn the Humidistat all the way high. (Dial that controls the humidity.). generally located over the top of the humidifier.
Make sure the water shut-off valve for humidity is open. (Avoid piercing the valve; it may cause a water leak.)
Make sure the humidifier filter (PAD) is replaced every year.
Make sure the side of the filter (Pad) with color goes on top.
